Standards and Antitrust Practice Guide for Inspection case
The companies and sectoral institutions represented within the Spanish Road Association (AEC) have on occasion raised questions such as which behaviors in the market are categorically prohibited; when an industry association can be considered to promote anti-competitive behavior; what are the problems of exclusive or selective distributions, what kind of sectoral agreements may be contrary to competition law or how to behave in the case of a home inspection by the competition authorities (increasingly frequent) .
Aware of the doubts that can afflict the road sector on the rules governing competition within the program and advice provided to its members, ACS held a Partner Information Day the 4 2010 February.
The Uría Menéndez Law Firm, which has a prestigious European and Competition Law Area, offered during this session two conferences with an eminently practical approach to members of the Spanish Highway Association interested in this matter. In turn, the participants were able to raise questions and clarify doubts from the hand of two accredited “counsels” of this Department of the Uría Menéndez Law Firm.
