ABSTRACT:
The article covers the history of road planning in Spain from the decade of XNUMX till now. It is principally focused on plans on roads and main planning orientations for the infrastructures managed by the central government in the country (during the last years of dictatorship, Transition and Democracy government). The article analyses all the plans developed by the Spanish Ministry of Public Works, regardless if they were approved or executed.
