Luis Alberto Stuven Hurtado
Executive Secretary National Traffic Safety Commission (CONASET). Chile

ABSTRACT:

The National Traffic Safety Commission of Chile has made valuable progress in road safety in recent years. The high number of deaths and serious injuries (especially vulnerable users) as a result of road accidents, as well as the need to establish new rules and ways to share common spaces between all modes of transport, have made the challenges in the traffic (a) are increasingly complex and multifaceted. That is why these latest advances are not only in the regulatory field, but also in the field of engaging and articulating the collaboration of all relevant road safety actors in Chile to save lives.
