ABSTRACT

The quality of an infrastructure must be achieved through an adequate realization of the control process, which must be well planned, programmed and executed. This entails the review of specific control procedures as part of the general objective of continuous improvement. Applied to the construction of explanations with stone materials, called pedraplenes for large sizes or fillings all-one for intermediate products, there is still a problem regarding the methods of control of compaction in the execution of these explanations, with a little practical development of new techniques to be given usually good spread before the quality of the material used, with the problematic to handle material with heavy and large particles. Thus, the necessary field and laboratory works are developed to propose new procedures or changes in rock compaction control tests.
