ABSTRACT

In recent years the Generalitat de Catalunya has made a significant investment in improving and expanding the network of Catalan roads of ownership.

The availability of a mature network, along with a tight budget, makes it difficult policy continuity infrastructure and requires new strategies and infrastructure policies, to spend the paradigm of growth and expansion of the network to a new mission based on a model of management and resource optimization, efficiency, innovation and continuous improvement of the existing road network in all its aspects.

To accomplish this mission the Directorate General of Land Infrastructure Mobility of the Generalitat of Catalonia raises a Strategic Plan is divided into five areas of action.
