ABSTRACT
The article presents the results of the modeling process in 3D applied to a concrete pavement, simulating a load applied on the edge of the slab, using the ABAQUS / CAE program. It explains how to build the model; mathematical calibration, considering as reference for validation Westergaard equation; the reaction module of the subgrade pressure and tire-pavement contact: and a study of influence of two of the main factors involved in the design process is shown.
