ABSTRACT

The natural evolution of urban firm is its progressive degradation, thus requiring appropriate care to extend life, avoiding the road deterioration of our cities. The inadequacy of available resources, conducive to the essential preventive routine maintenance have to make way for healing operations or even costly reconstructions, which absorb most of the available budgets.

The objective of conservation in a city should be allocating sufficient resources periodically to ensure a certain level of service in their infrastructure and ensure the maintenance of the equity value of its network. It is essential to proper preventive conservation and act as soon as possible, to healing level, avoiding costly rehabilitation operations.

All these goals can not be achieved if you do not have appropriate management systems, which today are an essential element of modern conservation contracts.
