ABSTRACT
The road network in Spain has developed significantly in the last 25 years, adapting to existing demand. Currently, due to this development and the economic crisis, road maintenance has become the priority activity to ensure a comfortable and safe circulation and to maintain the road heritage value.
Technological advances applied to all conservation activities are very important as technically and economically possible to improve the performance of these activities.
