ABSTRACT
This article discusses the evolution of the communications network used by the DGT in its Traffic Control Systems is exposed and briefly describes the equipment and communications cables employees. In choosing communications network and equipment used it can be seen as sought a solution that enables the integration of existing, new and future elements, as well as different types of information (data, audio, video), guaranteeing a wide high band capacity for growth and versatility, communication in "Real Time" cover distances of variables Transmission, Security, redundancy and fault tolerance; always using standards homologated by ITU-T.
