ABSTRACT
This article begins with a review of the research and development open in structural evaluation of pavements, indicating systems and equipment. Then the subject focuses on the work carried out in Spanish airports, culminating in integration into the team ENDCRE 2000 AENA, a laser system that allows dispensing with the support beam sensors in the tests performed with such equipment. Finally, analysis of the new generation of large aircraft to the extent that it will affect the systems, equipment and current and future structural evaluation procedures included.
