ABSTRACT
the incidence that weather conditions in the accidents recorded by the DGT is studied. Analyzing the effects of driving rain on the importance of a path with hydraulic criteria and a correct road surface drainage is evident. the common elements of a longitudinal drainage network are described, pointing out some considerations to keep in mind in your project and not named in the legislation in force, especially considering the points of discharge. the advantages of the arrangement of retention basins drainage networks in urban environments and reviews of the (short) experience of employment in our country as well as examples of some made in France are exposed.
