ABSTRACT
An intersection always represents a point where the characteristics of the circulation of a road are interrupted and must therefore be treated specially. To achieve optimal operating conditions and safety in this type of nodes, it is necessary to consider certain aspects in its design and project. Several Spanish publications that published standards and recommendations for proper design, however, most of them are incomplete and have also become outdated in many respects not adapt to the traffic characteristics and current paths
