ABSTRACT
The need to respond to the demands of society from the environmental point of view and continuous improvement in the performance of products have been the two main axes of development of bituminous binders in recent years. This article reviews the most significant advances in bituminous binders: bitumens, modified bitumens, bituminous emulsions, modified bituminous emulsions, synthetic binders, emulsions synthetic binder, anticarburante bitumens, multigrade bitumens and modified bitumens reclaimed rubber tire .
