ABSTRACT
The article presents two examples of the impact of new technologies STI in financing urban road infrastructure and advanced systems semafóricas centralized network control. the project of an urban Highway financed presented by toll without stopping ( "free-flow") where the technologies of automatic payment traffic management and advanced control system of traffic light networks as an exponent of the application of new combine self-adaptive technology to urban traffic control is installed in Madrid. The project North-South road in Santiago de Chile has allowed through the toll without stopping the financing of the project by private enterprise without which had not been able to carry out the construction.
