ABSTRACT
This work reflects on the costs for society with road accidents. The evaluation of the cost of fatal accidents depends on the availability of an estimate of the economic value of a statistical life. In particular it aims to quantify the socio-economic costs of traffic accidents in Spain. We care from an economic point of view of road safety, ie from the perspective of Cost-Benefit Analysis.
