ABSTRACT
This article reflects the experiences gained by performing recycling works "in situ" firm with cement carried out in the province of Palencia, by the Ministry of Public Works of the Junta de Castilla y Leon, through its Territorial Development service. These actions have taken place in roads of low traffic intensity, with percentages of less than 10% heavy, with clear seasonal peaks (agricultural areas). They are roads with a very old firm formed by a macadam of variable thickness and restrike in certain highly contaminated spots, and with successive superficial treatments or reinforcements cold asphalt mix. In addition had severe deformations having been subjected to traffic loads that exceeded their load-bearing capacity.
The works presented have been developed between 1999 and 2004. The total length of the sections recycled round the 130 km and about 67.000 m2 of recycled surface.
