ABSTRACT
The work presented here, awarded the International Award for Innovation in Highway Juan Antonio Fernández del Campo, in his 1ª Edition (2005) is the result of a long and painstaking research on one of the modes frequently deterioration in the firm flexible in their decision fatigue cracking. This research has led to the implementation of a new tensile test and the development of a simple procedure to evaluate the fatigue behavior of a bituminous mixture from obtaining their fracture energy and strength.
