ABSTRACT
a research study presented to verify experimentally the application of the concept "Temperature equi-viscous" (EVT) on a given value of "shear viscosity at low strain rate" (LSV), as specifier temperature parameter maximum service against permanent deformations of bitumens.
new methods of functional characterization by dynamic tests oscillating at low frequencies, which are to be implemented soon in European legislation, in bitumens with different degrees of modification, original and aged, comparing the results obtained with the method of characterization and specifications are analyzed SHRP -Superpave. From the results it can be stated that the proposed specification criterion the difference in performance is best seen between natural bitumens and modified, resulting particularly suitable for characterizing the latter.
