ABSTRACT
With the aim of strengthening the European internal market and get the maximum benefit from an expanded market 25 Member States, the Commission established as a priority, among others, the need to facilitate the free movement of goods. This is mainly based on confidence in the controls of other Member States. Within this process, the CE mark is an important tool because it indicates the conformity of products, in our case of Hot rolled products of steel structures for the intended use according to the new approach to technical harmonization and procedures conformity assessment established by the Council of the European Communities.
