ABSTRACT
The realization of a project entails construction of a road contemplate numerous parameters and conditions, including those that are central, trace materials and soil characteristics. When clay soils appear, which is very common in many areas of Spain, it is necessary to stabilize these soils, for which purpose lime is an advantageous alternative both technically and economically, also must consider the ease and speed with which can run stabilization with lime.
The text analyzes the four main components of the system: lime, soil, mix lime soil and the conditions that must meet the Preliminary Study on the formulation and dosage of lime to obtain the best results in the work, materials and optimizing the consumption of lime
