ABSTRACT
The ACEX Award for safety in road maintenance, born out of concern for safety and its close link with the conservation activity, since the work is performed without traffic restrictions, with the consequent risk involved for operators.

It is an incentive for continuous improvement in safety, and involves all workers, because everyone in his position is responsible for their safety, their peers and users, and can and should give ideas for improve it.

This article describes the work that won the first edition of the award is presented, it is a system to place safely, quickly and conveniently cones cuts rail, necessary for conservation work.
