ABSTRACT
The pavement management system is aimed at efficient management of limited resources for conservation of road assets. The first step in any management system is the inventory and division into manageable for the collection and analysis of data units. These units or segments should possess similar characteristics that encourage the same behavior to the action of traffic and climate, the same physical condition and therefore require the same conservation action. This type of unit is called homogeneous section.

In this paper the division is performed in Camagüey Beltway road from the available information and current conditions of the art in Cuba.
