ABSTRACT
The rolling noise is a property of the firm that is primarily concerned with the impact that occurs when the tire contact with the pavement. There are different methods for evaluating this road surface characteristic. This article gives an overview of the most important aspects related to road noise, the existing regulatory framework at present and teams CEDEX available for measurement thereof are described. Also, some general results of CPX measurements with different types of equipment in road surface with less than two years old are presented.
