1905. The primacy of the railroad
In these early years of the century, as important as the firm was the road layout. Built without thinking things like speed or safety, had sharp curves and slopes slopes could reach about ten and twelve percent. For some reason or other, travel along these roads were made long and tiring, and therefore, the railroad was imposed as the main means of transport for both passengers and freight. It was faster, comfortable, economical and safe.
The proceedings become something of the past. As for the horse carriages, their work was reduced passenger transport to and from the train stations. The best endured rail competition were trucks, carrying goods. In short journeys and media were more comfortable than the train, as they avoided breaking load by passing from one to another and allowed bringing the goods to their final destination.
