II Informative Conference on Road Safety: "Inform to Prevent"

Last 16 June the second Divulgativa Road Safety Day was held with the theme "Report to Prevent", an initiative carried out by the Institute of Road Safety at the Mapfre Foundation, the Spanish Road Association and Applus.

Mrs. Anna Ferrer, Director of the National Road Safety Observatory of the General Directorate of Traffic, was present and introduced the “DGT Strategic Plan”.

Following this intervention, the topics covered were:

- Human Factor: presentation by Mr. Agustín Galdón (Fundación MAPFRE), “Objective: 0 children died Child Restraint System".

- Factor Vía: presentation by Ms. Elena de la Peña González (Spanish Road Association), “Objective: 30% fewer deaths per output via conventional road".

- Vehicle Factor: presentation by Mr. David Gallegos, (Applus + Chair), “Objective: 30% reduction in deaths from abuse".

 The event concluded with a round table with all the speakers, which was joined by Mr. Bartolomé Vargas, Road Safety Prosecutor.
