Second webinar on demand on BIM and roads from AEC and Autodesk

Second on-demand webinar about BIM and roads from AEC and Autodesk

As of November 25, 2021

The Spanish Road Association (AEC), together with its partner Autodesk, organizes a new on-demand webinar on BIM technology and its application to road infrastructures. Digital transformation in public road works is the topic that will be addressed in this course online and, which is broadcast delayed and in which it will be explained how to apply technology for the optimization of resources in the design and management of road infrastructures.

The public administration dedicated to the road sector faces great challenges. Among them, the demand for more sustainable and resilient infrastructure, limited budgets and deteriorated infrastructure. Added to this is the fact that they have fewer and fewer resources. In this scenario, the challenges posed force public works departments to work smarter and more efficiently. The BIM methodology plays a key role here in achieving optimization in the design and management of road projects.

Public sector leaders must identify the best tools for their projects and find new ways of working collaboratively with contractors. Therefore, this online session, given by Camilo Jiménez, Technical Sales Specialist at Autodesk, is aimed at those who want to know:

                  • BIM basics
                  • BIM workflows applied to infrastructures
                  • Use of the Collaborative Data Environment (CDE) in Public Administration
                  • Success stories of BIM implementation on roads

Also participating in the webinar will be Arturo Delgado, Group Manager Advanced Design at Fulcrum, and Juan José Vallejo, BIM Manager at Copcisa, who will present success stories related to BIM for road projects.

El webinar will be available from November 25 on the website of Autodesk. To access the session online and you just have to register through the landing page enabled for this purpose from that same day.
