The Spanish Road Association (AEC) -member founder of the American Ibero-Road Institute (IVIA) - is entrusted with coordinating the participation of our country in the V Ibero-American Congress of Traffic Safety (CISEV), to be held on 7 to 9 2016 November in Santiago de Chile (Chile) with the slogan "Safety of vulnerable road users."

This coordination includes both the scientific and technical level as institutional and commercial areas.

This has been in the four editions held so far, quantifying the presence of our country in each, as follows:

The aim of all this is simply to locate the presence of Spain in this important Ibero-Latin American event among the most important and significant, in order to show our scientific and technological potential in everything that affects new developments to improve traffic safety as well as new initiatives implemented by Spanish institutions that have revolutionized accident rates and mortality in the Spanish road scene.

From the technical point of view, the AEC channels the presentations by experts from our country to five themes in the Technical Program V CISEV is structured and matching the five pillars of the Decade of Action United Nations:

In addition, the AEC has negotiated a reduced registration fee for Spanish delegates, of 375 UD $ (336 €), which will be maintained until the Congress is held. At the commercial level, the Association has defined a project for a Spanish information stand in which the institutions and companies of our country that wish to participate find an attractive showcase, closely linked to the values ​​of the "Spain Brand", in which to display their achievements, advances and news to the Ibero-Latin American road community.
