Workshop on the presentation of Recommendations on Vehicle Containment Systems on roads with reduced characteristics

The July 3 was held at the Engineering Institute of Spain (C / General Arrando, No. 38) the day of presentation of Recommendations on Vehicle Containment Systems on roads of reduced characteristics, organized by the Spanish Road Association with the collaboration of the Association of Engineers of Roads, Channels and Ports and the Association of Engineers of Roads, Canals and Ports.
The document has been prepared by the road safety working group of the Bureau of General Directors of Roads of Autonomous Communities and Provincial Councils, chaired by Enrique Casquero de la Cruz, Head of Road Safety Service of the Generalitat Valenciana, and coordinates the Spanish Road Association (AEC).
The presentation culminates the work of several years by the representatives of different Autonomous Communities and Provincial Councils, as well as other collaborators, in the search for solutions for those sites of the road network where, due to their particular characteristics, it is not possible apply Circular Order 35 / 2014 on criteria for the application of vehicle containment systems.
